In a little news from some oft-ignored Nike quasi-classics, the Nike Royal Mid will be getting a couple of new releases, both incorporating the metallic colors we’ve seen lately in shoes like the Air Jordan 1, fitting as these Royals are more than a little reminiscent of the classic basketball shoe. The first pair is stunning, but I’m not sure if that’s in a positive way. It’s a Nike Royal Mid all-silver upper with a white midsole, the second is similar but a little different, it’s sports a completely white upper and sole unit but with a gold toe-box that spills all the way up the tongue.
